2015 A4K Charity Golf Invitational

A4K Invitational (black) Athletics For Kids is excited to announce our 2015 A4K Charity Golf Invitational! This exciting and important event will help raise additional funds that will help us continue the pursuit of our vision – that every child in British Columbia participates in our community through sports, regardless of their socioeconomic status.

We invite you to join us for an afternoon of golf, food and fun! Held at the beautiful Quilchena Golf & Country Club, the day will feature lunch, a round of golf, dinner, prizes, exciting on-course activities and much more!

The format of the tournament is a Texas Scramble, so golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to join us for this great event!

11:00am – 1:15pm: BBQ Lunch
1:30pm: Shot Gun Start / Texas Scramble Format
6:30pm: Cocktails immediately following the 18th hole
7:00pm: Cocktail Reception/Dinner, Awards Banquet and Auction

Dress Code Policy

The dress code for the course are those recommended by the various golf associations which require players to dress neatly and appropriately and in keeping with seasonal fashion changes.

Men: shirts with a collar or turtleneck including mock turtlenecks to be tucked in at all times, golf slacks, or golf shorts. Hats, caps and visors are not to be worn backwards. Not Allowed: Jeans or denim of any kind of colour, tennis shorts, sweat pants, hoodies, rugby pants, cut-offs, cargo pants or shorts, t-shirt, tank tops, shirts with slogans, numbers or illustrations, headgear with logos (except golf related insignia).

Women: Full length slacks, Capri pants, golf skirts, golf shorts. Shirts with collars, turtlenecks, round neck shirts with sleeves and collared shirts that are sleeveless. Shirts tailored to be worn outside need not be tucked in. Not Allowed: T-shirts, see-through shirts, tank tops, halter tops, cut-offs, jeans or denim of any kind or colour, cargo pants, stirrup pants, short shorts, leggings or warm up suits.

Wireless Device Policy

Wireless devices are not to be used as telephones in the lounges or dining areas of the clubhouse. Wireless devices must be kept in silent mode when taken on the golf course.
